Merry Christmas

And the Word became flesh and lived among us,

and we have seen his glory,

the glory as of a father’s only son,

full of grace and truth….

From his fullness we have all received,

grace upon grace.

John 1:14, 16

On this third day of Christmas,

I pray the PEACE of Christ will touch your life,

the HOPE of new possibilities will brighten the coming year,

the JOY of life in beloved community will lift your spirits,

and the LOVE of God, reflected in the love of family and dear friends, will fill your heart.

Thank you for the ways you have welcomed me and my family into the community of St Stephen’s!

Gratefully,

Pastor Sue

Lutheran Church Wilmington

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation of the ELCA, we believe that the gospel is God's gift to all people, shared unconditionally and without regard to race, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, socio-economic or family status, age, physical or mental abilities, outward appearance, or religious affiliation. We seek racial equality and justice. In this way, we live into the truth written in Ephesians (2:14)—that Christ breaks down the dividing walls between us and makes us one.
